Director, Digital Sales and Web Development

VistaGraphics, Inc. seeks a proven Director of Digital Sales and Web Development to provide energized leadership for our digital sales initiatives. The successful applicant possesses a strong passion for digital advertising strategies and enjoys staying up to date with its evolution and thrives in a customer-focused team environment. They will also be adept in developing impactful relationships with coworkers and advertisers at the decision-making level.

This position also includes the management of priorities for the VistaGraphics Web Department comprised of developers, designers and SEO specialists that build and support both internal and external websites.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage digital sales initiatives to achieve revenue goals
  • Work with sales team to create and successfully implement digital advertising solutions for existing and/or prospective clients
  • Attend in-person and virtual sales calls with the goal of securing new or incremental digital revenue
  • Provide educational and technical support to sales team
  • Develop and deliver presentations to external groups as necessary
  • Regularly meet with sales team, including group and individual meetings, to ensure their professional development and success with stated goals
  • Cultivate and manage a key-account book of business with clients to develop/strengthen business relationships and drive client retention
  • Stay current on digital advertising trends, and lead digital sales training weekly
  • Consistently evaluate AE performance and provide feedback
  • Respond to RFP requests; meet client deadlines
  • Develop/strengthen business relationships with key vendors
  • Act as primary POC for external digital vendors
  • Develop and generate non-traditional revenue and new sales initiatives
  • Support local sales team in developing sales presentations
  • Work in partnership with Department Heads to achieve stated and strategic goals
  • Be flexible and responsive to dynamic business conditions 
  • Provide direction and guidance to the Web Department regarding prioritizing projects
  • Provide guidance to digital focused Customer Support Representatives
  • Travel to outside markets as needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong formal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office’s software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Communications preferred
  • Excellent presentation, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects and products
  • Robust knowledge of digital media platforms and ability to effectively articulate digital solutions
  • Programmatic advertising sales/management experience

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled web developer to join our team of innovative developers and designers who are consistently raising the bar on creativity and user experiences. The ideal candidate has an extensive technical expertise who can work alongside a team and independently in the creation, maintenance, and updates of websites for clients in a variety of industries. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this role. The web developer will have an immediate effect on our brand and that of our clients’, as well as an ongoing impact in solidifying our industry-wide reputation for stellar design.

Objectives of this Role

  • Consistently create well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design
  • Create websites and user interfaces, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services
  • Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs
  • Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various computers can access content
  • Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications

Client Relations Manager (CRM)

VistaGraphics, Inc. is looking for a Client Relations Manager (CRM) for multi-market print and web related products. The CRM is a critical role, serving as a trusted point of contact for existing and new clients. The CRM will report to the Vice President of Production and will be in daily contact with the Account Executives and Lead Graphic designers.

As a CRM, you will work directly with clients, account executives and lead graphic designers to ensure the timely and accurate flow of materials. You will communicate with all staff involved in the various projects to manage and meet deadlines. Professional mannerism is a must, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate for this position will be very organized, be outgoing and personable, be articulate and communicate effectively, be a self-starter, be willing to learn a lot about the publishing and web industry, be able to multi-task and work under pressure, be detailed oriented and have strong computer skills, be responsible for proofreading a variety of print and web products, ensure timely submission of ads by all deadline dates (print and web), work closely with out-of-market Account Executives.

We place a premium on high performance, quality service and the ability to execute the VistaGraphics strategy. Essential skills include bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience, Minimum of 3 years’ experience with customer service. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, as well as a part of a team.
