VistaGraphics is pleased to announce the hiring of Beth Hester as Managing Editor of Coastal Virginia Business Magazine (CoVa BIZ). In her role, she’ll be responsible for helping VistaGraphics grow the magazine, and expand the content and reach of the publication’s digital assets. She’s also looking forward to working with Outer Banks Coastal Life, and products devoted to highlighting Coastal Virginia’s many outdoor adventure and tourism opportunities.
Beth has written for numerous VistaGraphics publications since 2007.
A native of Portsmouth, Virginia, she attended Old Dominion University where she studied Business and Technical Writing, and Poetry.
Beth is an avid angler, advocate for urban green space, and supporter of her local Public Radio Stations WHRO and WHRV. She collects books on photography, architecture, and graphic design, and she’s a contributing writer, photographer, and columnist for Virginia Wildlife Magazine. She’s currently learning Japanese.
She loves Indian and East Asian cuisine, baseball and cricket, music, reading, and a perfect pair of well-worn khakis. Most days her patron saint is E.B. White, on other days, it’s Peppa Pig.
